​Julie Bargenquast

Julie is Executive General Manager of the Blue Mountains Regional Business Chamber and has over 20 years of experience in both government and commercial businesses. She has been responsible for directing organisational strategies and alliances for market growth both at strategic and operational levels.  Julie has also operated small businesses in professional services and more recently a retail outlet in the Blue Mountains. 

Deborah Wylde

Debra Wylde returned to the mountains after 15 years of working as a Professional Development Consultant for individuals and Fortune 500 companies around the world with an almost four year stint in Turkey where she was also a regular contributor for CEO Magazine.Upon her return Debra could see the need for a digital angle to her work and returned to study at the revered Metro Screen in Paddington to complete a Diploma in Digital Screen & Media majoring in Multi Platform.

With her friends encouragement she has returned to the Blue Mountains and is working with talented individuals and businesses in assisting them to create an authentic online presence with sound digital strategy. In her spare ti me she is passionate about the Food and Wine industry and grateful for the opportunity to live and work in such an amazing environment with such great people.


Asha Dooley


Asha brings a wealth of experience to the funeral industry having run her family’s two funeral businesses for 4 years. He career began in hospitality and she has held many customer service roles including operational management, guest services, sales and event management. She has also specialised in Learning & Development and Human Resources.


Currently Asha is the General Manager for Australian Funeral Director’s Association (AFDA) Member Grace Funerals and Blue Mountains Funerals in Sydney and is on the AFDA NSW/ACT Divisional Council. Asha presented at the AFDA 2015 National Convention on ‘Gen Management’ and was the 2015 AFDA Scholarship winner presenting at the AFDA 2016 National Convention on ‘Wow Funerals’. Currently Asha is working with the AFDA on the rollout of the training for the Your Goodbye campaign.


Adam Mondy

Katherine Hawes

Katherine Hawes is the founder of Aquarius Lawyers, Aquarius Education and Digital Age Legal Solutions. Katherine has practiced law for over 20 years and assists small business to grow and understand the legal complexities of operating a business.​  Katherine has extensive business, legal and management experience. At the age of 15, she commenced work as part time researcher/paralegal for Barristers. Following this, she then went on to establish a legal research and paralegal company called Legal Rescue Services. The
business still operates 23 years later.

Katherine has extensive knowledge of the law within different jurisdictions and extensive courtroom experience. She has appeared at
the Full Court of the High Court admitted as both a solicitor and a barrister.
