Kate Woolfe is a freelance writer, editor and musician.
An Honours degree in English Literature developed into a working life of publications and communications and media management, in arts, not-for-profit, corporate, education and government environments. She has deep insight into the possibilities and challenges of balancing family with a working life.
Kate’s small business is based in the Blue Mountains, offering a suite of creative services including copywriting, editing, media strategy and content creation.
A skilled communicator, Kate has worked with a broad range of organisations and people, including La Trobe University, Norman Lindsay Gallery, Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC), Varuna the National Writers’ House, Western Sydney University, the Australian Government, the Australian Broadcasting Commission, Blue Mountains Refugee Support Group, Change Your Bag, the Annual ZEST Awards.
A keen sailor, Kate spends spare time looking for ways to get on the water, and wrestling with a surfeit of creative ideas.
Kate Woolfe’s Big Bad Swing Band and Jazz Trio work extensively across the Greater Sydney region.
